Popular Science magazine had an article about a solar generator that is not like the solar panels you put on your roof. It generates electricity by magnifying the sun with a mirror. At the point where the light is magnified it gets really hot and heats up hydrogen making it expand and drive a piston. For More info check out popular science website.
