Concerning The Doors
Sigh....I can't believe I didn't see this till just now, but The Wexel has made a grave error. He said that and I quote "they [The Doors] may not have as many great songs as some bands but come on, this is really inovative stuff". Obviously you have never heard LA Women, or Waiting for the Sun, or any of their albums for that matter. How could you say that "Break on Through" or "Light My Fire" aren't great songs. How about "Crawling King Snake","Moonlight Drive" or "Strange Days". Come on now I could go on forever. To bring the Doors down like that is a crime against music, and you should be flogged for your ignorence. My God, how could you even put them on your list if your going to make a statement like that. Its insulting. Damn man, go out and buy LA Women, The Doors and Waiting for the Sun, then come talk to me. Christ...

So, yes I agree with you. However, I bet you that if you go out and read the literature on great bands, most people will write about the Beatles or the Rolling Stones.

Alrik, when you call people ignorant, you must spell it right, otherwise its completely counterproductive.
