What is Going On?
So I agree with Mr. Ike in that the blog has taken a slightly too serious turn of late. Therefore I am going to talk about everything else that does not include passion or love (well actually there is a lot of passion and love in it but not Alrik's kind). So the 49ers draften Alex Smith with the first pick of the draft. Were we suprised? No (actually we were fucking suprised, what was the deal with Aaron Roggers? He is from fucking B-town and we just ingored him. Anybody from Cal is under rated I guess. Speaking of Cal, where the fuck did J.J. Arrington go? He looked great in college) so back to the 49ers overall draft. I think they did pretty well. Two OL, one DL, couple of corners, a running back, couple of recievers. This is about the extent of my knowledge of draft day, because basically I do not care enough to investigate each fucking player, especially when most of them are going to be bad. So if you have made it this far in the reading you undersand that I am not talking about love, not yet. But I do love football. Just watching football commercials on ESPN draft coverage makes my want to cry because real football isn't coming for 4 more months. But for now we can obsess over all the draft picks that will most likely suck.

Alex Smith. He's our new boy. I sleep with my niners blanket every night, and he is the new face of the team. He is the foundation of our new team, and I trust Coach Nolan, so I will now love Smith.
Here's where it gets weird. Motherfucker is 20, you believe that shit? That is one year older than me. You see, when I sleep with my 49ers blanket I am the 10 year old kid that looks up to legends like Steve Young and Jerry Rice. Now my blanket represents a dude thats my age. This of course just pounds home the devastating truth that in my life there is no chance that I will ever be the new quarterback for the niners and that, despite my earlier complaints about softy remarks, is a sincere heartbreaker.
I just want to be able to watch the 49ers again and not feel like crying inside. I want to go back to the glory days of huddling around the TV with my dad and brother and watching the 49ers win their 4th game in a row. (the real old days). But I can't believe you of all people wexel, didn't catch the latest technological breakthrough in the world of computer graphics, especially since it aired with the draft.
